Above the Fray is a wall-mounted sculpture. Its offbeat balance and seeming random composition are meant to engage the viewer and embody a sense of controlled chaos. The negative space is as much a part of the arrangement as are the recycled components. In this piece, the buddha head ascends calmly over all, reminding us of that still presence in the midst of everything.

Repurposed wood, metal, and plaster components, including game board, embroidery hoop, salad forks, metal grill, garden stake.
